Summers in the seaside town of Noquit Maine are quiet and relaxing … unless you find a mysterious dead body, a hunky ex-boyfriend shows up and you start getting instructions from ghostly relatives.
That’s exactly what happens to Morgan Blackmoore.
Suddenly, she finds herself in a race against time as she’s launched into a dangerous treasure hunt that pits her against modern day pirates who think she has the key to a three hundred year old secret.
To complicate matters even more, one of her sisters keeps talking to the ghost of their dead grandmother, another has crystals with unusually powerful healing properties and her cat has an uncanny habit of showing up in exactly the right place at exactly the right time.
Not to mention that her ex-boyfried, Luke Hunter, suddenly shows up in town after ten years of being overseas and claims to want to help her fight off these deadly pirates, but Morgan finds herself fighting her attraction to him instead.
Will Morgan outwit the treasure hunters and find the real killer before Sheriff Overton puts her in jail?
And what about Luke, is he really a good guy or just after the treasure himself?

Just got finished with Dead and Buried it was fantastic I loved it can’t wait for the next book in the series hopefully that will be really soon.I have read all of the Lexy Baker series also and cannot wait for that book as well. Keep up the great work you are among one of my favorite authors and I will continue to read your books as fast as they come out. Thanks so much Lori
Thanks so much for your kind words Lori! I’m actually just finishing up the next Lexy Baker one and then I’ll start on the third Blackmoore Sisters which will probably be published sometime in September.
i just finished Dead & Buried (i really enjoy the series) and i think i noticed a missing word. on my kindle, it was at the top of page 59: “…or maybe because it was so quiet – especially now when one else was home.” i think the word “no” was missing between When & One.
i hope you don’t end the series once all the sisters are matched up – i’m always so disappointed when that happens. we finally get to see them happy and then their gone! thank you for such an enjoyable cast of characters! kelly
Thanks! There is supposed to be a “no” in there! I’ll get that fixed up and I appreciate you letting me know.
I’m glad you are enjoying the series — I’m working on the third one now. I am going to continue it and have plans for the girls to go on various treasure hunts all over the world. And Belladonna too, of course!
It was a great book.Read it all in one morning just had to see how it ended. Can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks Debbie! I’m almost done with the next one now. Should be published in 2 or 3 weeks.
