There’s more than one secret in the old Blackmoore house. Some have been buried for a long time and some are sitting closer to the surface.
Morgan and Fiona Blackmoore enjoy their simple life in the sleepy ocean-side town of Noquitt Maine where they offer herbal remedies and crystal healing for locals and tourists alike.
…Until Morgan is accused of killing the town shrew, Prudence Littlefield.
Suddenly the girls find themselves scrambling to find the real killer while they battle a crooked Sheriff, planted evidence, and a long list of suspects that all had a reason to want Prudence dead.
Handsome Jake Cooper is new to the Noquitt Maine police force, which is exactly why Fiona Blackmoore doesn’t trust him. But with time running out and the evidence against her sister piling up, Fiona has to make a choice – will she trust Jake with her sisters case … and her own heart?
Add in an old mansion on the cliffs of Maine, an attic full of mysterious treasures, and a cat that has the uncanny ability to show up at exactly the right time and Fiona has her hands full proving the Sheriff’s accusations about her sister being a murderer are Dead Wrong.
This is the first book in the Blackmoore sisters cozy mystery series!
Will Dead Wrong be available for Nook soon?
Hi Cindy – It will be in early August! I’ll post on my fan page as soon as it is!
Just finished reading Dead Wrong on my Nook. Can’t wait to read the next book. I was so happy when I read that you based it on Ogunquit Maine. That is my favorite place to visit.
Thanks Pat! I’m almost done with book #3 in the series and I’m planning a trip to Ogunquit hopefully in a few weeks!
I enjoy reading your books, takes me to places that I can envision. I am currently reading the Blackmoore Sisters series. I would like to know the order in which to read them if you could tell me that would be great.
Thanks and continued success to you.
Debbie
Hi Debbie – thanks for your kind words! The Blackmoore ones are best read in this order:
Dead Wrong
Dead & Buried
Dead Tide
Each one is a standalone story but I think they are more fun to read in order because you get to see the sister’s abilities develop. Thanks for your support!
I loved the Blackmoore sisters! Can’t wait for their nest “adventure” and to learn more about the mysterious Mateo! Thanks for great fun!
Thanks for your kind words Eileen!
When will a new book in the series come out?
Sometime before the end of the year. I’m not 100% sure when but I’m thinking the end of summer or early fall. Unless a really great idea takes hold and I’m compelled to write one sooner!
Will there be anymore Blackmoor Sisters books? I have enjoyed reading their adventures, but am left feeling like there are too many unresolved plot lines. Such as Dr Bly, Mateo and his sister discussing not mingling bloodlines, the whole witch aspect, Belladonna’ secrets…
I don’t have a date for one, but have more stories to tell. These days I am writing books when they strike my fancy, so when an idea for the next Blackmoore takes hold I will write it! No idea when that will be though.
I just finished the 9th book of The Blackmore Sisters and so excited to hear you have more stories to tell about them! I will wait patiently for them! I love your stories about them and Lexi Baker!!
Thanks! So glad you like them!
